Cajo Technologies, a Finnish manufacturer of laser marking machinery, is expanding to the US.

Cajo Technologies has developed a new way of producing permanent laser markings and color patterns on almost any imaginable material. The already up-and-running subsidiary Cajo Technologies Inc. has started to build its organization and begin local recruiting. Its very first marking machines have also been sold and delivered.

“We have tremendous growth potential in the US – the market is up to 70 times larger than our home market in Finland,” says Ismo Rantala, Country Manager (USA).

Cajo Technologies has developed a new way of producing permanent markings and color patterns on almost any imaginable material. The patented technology is based on the traditional laser beam, and it offers a variety of solutions from branding and product design to identification. It can also replace outdated marking systems.

According to Rantala, laser technology has only been utilized by about half of companies that make or require these kinds of markings. The company was established in 2010 and currently has 20 employees. In addition to Finland and the US, the company has operations in Sweden.
